My top 3 tweets #1

Welcome to my top three¬†tweets for the week of May 18, 2015. Each week I pick my top 3 tweets¬†and package them into a blog post. Those that know me would agree that I love to try stuff out and experiment. This is an experiment that I’m doing to generate more content for my blog and more engagement on Twitter. I’ll have a brief blurb about the tweet and encourage you to contribute to the Twitter conversation. Let’s learn together and please borrow this idea for your blogs and businesses. All I ask is you consider hiring my agency one day! – Chris.

No 1: Fake followers

Why top 3?: Fake followers is a key problem. I want people to be aware of the cheesy tactics people are using to “game twitter”. This tweet I want people to share and discuss.

No 2: Don Draper

Why top 3?: I love good ad creative and Madmen. I can’t stand Don Draper as a person. I’m not crazy! I know he technically doesn’t exist. As a Creative Director and Copywriter he’s top 5 in my books. Can’t you see Draper pitching Twitter?

No 3: NFL Stars Invest

Why top 3?: First, because a startup is using NFL stars to get exposure. My advice is for Buddytruk to have those stars get involved in the company’s social campaigns. Second, I love startups! Finally, if you look at the engagement for this tweet (2 RTs and 4 faves) it’s nothing special. But, there was a heavy lift in impressions from just two tweets.
